Midlothian Passes New Rain Ready Plan

At the regularly scheduled board meeting last night Midlothian became the first in the nation to adopt the RainReady Plan to address ongoing flooding issues that have plagued property owners for decades.

Through a partnership between local community group, Floodlothian Midlothian and the Center for Neighborhood Technology, the RainReady Plan was developed, and over $1.3 million in outside funds have already been secured and an additional $8.3 million is expected to be approved.
