Mayor Sharon Rybak’s October 2014 Tax Hike Speech

In October 2014, Mayor Sharon Rybak called for what she considered a mandatory tax hike or face possible actions such as the State of Illinois coming into the Village and taking over.  Numerous times, she portrayed the Village cowering in dark corners of despair and that nothing less than a tax hike would ensure the financial health and well-being of the Village of Midlothian.

This is a short video containing her speech.
