Midlothian Breaking Ground on Water Tower

The Village of Midlothian has been in need of an elevated water tank on the west side of the Village since as early as 1956, when the Village underwent a large annexation of properties around Cicero Ave, such as Bremen Heights.  Since that period of growth, delivering sufficient water pressure on the west side has been a thorn in the side of the Village.  Numerous times, efforts to install a water tank have been held up or simply collapsed, but this inability to get the project to the starting line of construction is coming to an end next week.

There will be a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at 145th Street just off of Cicero and everyone is invited to attend.
